CBI partners with MIT and NERRS to study the effect of role-play simulations on activism and planning around climate change adaptation

CBI collaborates with Shell to build community stakeholder engagement capacity by leading customized training, creating an interactive, multimedia curricula, and helping company leaders bolster internal training resources.

CBI facilitates seven culturally sensitive, participatory consultation meetings between Native American Tribes and the U.S. Department of the Interior, which lead to a settlement implementation plan for one of the largest class action settlements in U.S. history.

CBI assists Macalester College to design and lead intensive stakeholder workshops across the country to better understand opposition to wind energy; the research team finds that landscape values around wind energy development can be complex, nuanced, and intertwined with local values and interests.

CBI and the Rocky Mountain Institute design and facilitate the National Energy Policy Initiative to produce expert consensus on policy priorities and disseminate their conclusions in testimony before Congress.

CBI has facilitated and helped to design multiple WWF dialogues aimed at developing environmentally and socially responsible production standards for commodities and goods including farmed seafood, beef, and timber. We’ve also helped WWF, a leading conservation organization, with strategic planning across global offices and programs.
