The Not Invisible Act Commission

CBI is proud to have supported the Not Invisible Act Commission, which was established to confront the epidemic of missing persons, murder, and trafficking of Indigenous people. On November 1, the Commission sent its recommendations to the Department of the Interior, Department of Justice, and U.S. Congress.

Read more about the Commission in this statement from the Department of the Interior. There, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland says, "Indian Country will be safer, and lives will be saved, because of this Commission's work."

The National Indigenous Women's Resource Center (NIWRC) has created a webpage hub for the Not Invisible Act Commission. The page is comprehensive, offering access to documents including "Not One More," the Not Invisible Act Commission's final report. Find it here.
