The Department of Interior recently selected CBI's Managing Director Patrick Field and Senior Associate Rachel Milner Gillers to facilitate the U.S. Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), part of the Obama administration's Open Government Partnership. As facilitators, CBI will assist the U.S. in developing an effective outreach and engagement process as it readies the U.S. application for candidacy to the global EITI, a voluntary, multi-national initiative promoting transparency in reporting revenues received for oil, gas, and mineral development.
