CBI places a premium on effective assessment in all of our organizational development work. In advance of each training we typically speak with 4–6 individuals from the audience to learn more about the specific negotiations they conduct and the challenges they encounter. We use this interviewing process to select and tailor training materials in order to focus on the particular issues they face.
Based on a careful interviewing process, we are often able to provide an assessment of group strengths and weaknesses, to diagnose sources of conflict, and to highlight issues relating to organizational capacity or alignment. We can also provide individual skills assessment through Q-sort procedures and 360—degree feedback questionnaires.
CBI also conducts “Stakeholder Assessments” for organizations faced with resolving complex disputes involving other organizations.
